shift linkage not long enough

Default shift linkage not long enough

i did a ls swap into a 1991 crx si and with and old b series linkake form ebay wont reach?is there a way i could have really put the motor in wrong?its on jack stands now could that be the problem?

how far is it off by like 1" or a lot?

Is it stock linkage? If it is, you have to either cut and weld, or buy adjustable linkage.

I have the same problem. I have a hasport shift linkage for a jdm b16 and it's about 1/2" too short. Just use a pice of metal to extend it, like get an old linkage and cut off a straight piece, then cut the shift linkage you have and place the cut piece from the old shift linkage in it's place to space it.

thanks for the replies i just dont want to set her down and have the motor settle and i just ruined and new shift linkage!
