i did it what some people may call a dumb way...i drilled a hole through my drivers side inside fender and it came through under my drivers side dash. so i dragged it through the panels to the trunk i can post pictures if you want them

i have my battery relocated to the trunk so i made it easy on myself but to run it thru the firewall ive always gone thru one of the rubber grommets that go between the interior compartment and the engine bay. pretty sure on the em2 there is one behind the glove box and one under the steering column

ya i did. i ran my power wire thru behind the glove box then down under the trim along the doors and up under the seats into the trunk. then when i ran my rms wire i ran it down the drivers side to keep it away from teh main power wire

ya ive installed quite a few stereos and have at times considered doing it that way but have always managed to avoid it. ive found following hte factory wiring harness into the interior is the best.

on the side where ur battery is theres a firewall plug that u can detach with a flathead screwdriver and u can run ur wires under the passenger side interior. i think its there... lol i kno on the ej's they were cuz thats what i did

there's no need to drill. Look for where the engine harness goes through the firewall and run your wires through the same location.

wut the...refresh is key....hahaha thought no one answered yet...
