Default need help finding the right motor for my car

igh so i jus got this 91 civic hatchback but dont know which swap to do on it im lookn to break high 12s up to mid 13s all motor.now i was told to look at the h22 but also the to look at the b18 but im not jus lookin for a nice quarter mile run i also would like to have the top speed if sumone could jus please lead me in the right direction it would be so helpful thank you

first figure out how much you have to spend, since some swaps cost much more then others. 12s on all motor will require a hefty motor.

Really if you are willing to go crazy, you can do 12s on a D... even the nonvtec Ds.

Since you havn't stated your budget, willingness to alter the car and or other things other then a time goal, it's pretty hard to help you with the right pick.

I can come up with atleast 10 combos to get you there... some will be torquey motors others will rev to the moon and back.

I can even come up with a plan or two that will pass BAR/Smog. Try telling us everything you can think of you want out of it and problems you see for yourself eg "I want A/C no matter what or.. I don't like reving past X rpm"
