i just wanted to know what the big piece on top of the rear motor mount is supposed to hold? because when i put my motor back in last night i noticed there was nothing resting on there and it kinda looks like its there for no reason?? or did i forget to put something back? thanks

 

are you are talking about the big black piece thats connected to the motor and trans? fi you are that piece is how the rear mount attaches to the motor, so its very important that you have all bolts attached and tight.

 

What are you talking about? I had nothing on top of my motor mount on my 95....what year/trim is your car?
