I have a 1998 Integra and everytime the car is started there is a loud buzzing noise that comes from a black box that is located next to the blower fan behind the glove box right next to the blower motor resistors.

If I disconnect the electrical connector that goes into the black box the noise stops. But whether this connector is plugged in or not, the car has no heat.

Can anyone tell me what the black box is for? I looked through several service manuals and they show the part but it doesn't list a part description or name.

Any help would be appreciated.
