Question about how long the cx trans is
Hi, i'm just wondering how long it will be if i have turbo and get a really light flywheeel and run nitrous would the gears still feel long or will it climb up pretty quick?
CX tranny is useless for any application.....
get a Si/EX tranny the gears/FD are on par with B-series LS tranny, which is good tranny for boost...

ok the guy i bought the car from says it's a ex/si tranny but the gears feel pretty long....1st gear i get to 40mph and 2nd i get to 80mph what is normal for a ex/si trans
i am turbocharged too btw if that has any effect

def a cx tranny, i had one and even after the mini me swap, my speed topped out in third gear and fourth gear, you actually loose power shifting into 5th!

That's not close... Totally different... Those numbers look close but in reality will make a world of difference....

some guy told me a CXs 3rd gear went to 100mph.... and i was like yeah 5th gear is probably slower cause the motor cant spin that fast with that gear ratio
