DIFFERANCE BETWEEN LS AND B20 HEAD ?????

Default DIFFERANCE BETWEEN LS AND B20 HEAD ?????

Hey honda tech's , im new 2 site and have a few question bout the Ls head and B20 head. What is the difference between both ?? would a B20 head fit on a LS with out any problems ?? the thing is i have a 94 LS and had my head stolen at a local machine shop , they have a B20 head there but not sure if it would fit . thanks for help

it will fit np just need the intake manifold of your ls the b20 stand up to high

The exact same head. The castings are the same (P75), unless yours was a PR4 casting

(which I believe it might be, now that I think about it), and the differences are negligible

between the two. The CRV cams are different, however (less lift AND duration),

meaning they are built more for low end torque so you don't have to rev the **** out of

your motor to get it to go anywhere (CRV's are SUV's, after all). The CRV cams SUCK,

but then again, so do the stock LS cams. Go aftermarket

there isnt an advantage to putting a b20 head on an ls. there pretty much the same. the block is .2 liters bigger than the ls's thats where the advantage is.

Heads are the same. Unless the B20 head is stamped P8R.

i got a b20 head stamped p8r... would it still fit right on a LS block? i was thinking of putting it on there because of the smog over here in CA about b20s.... yeahh smog in cali sucks but hey smell are air lol

it has a larger combustion chamber so you'll drop compression. but it does have vtec size intake valves.
