CRX Convertible?
Is there really one? I was cruising along the Hwy the other day, and spotted an 87 or 88 CRX Convertible! I must say that it was clean and badass! I wouldn't mind having one for a beater.
A couple of companies did the CRX Convertible conversions back in the mid 80s, Straman was the best conversion. There are a few around still... Seeing them makes me wonder why Honda never made a factory CRX convertible. Sweet looking car.
I saw one this weekend near my house. It think it was painted Si Blue, but I'm not sure. It was a bit ricey, but not that bad looking. I have to admit, it did look pretty good. I'd love to have one but I'm afraid it would get stolen easier.

as cool as it may sound...there was a post about the one that was on ebay a while back and basically the verdict was it would be stupid...CRX's are unibodies...turning oneinto a conv. would GREATLY reduce the structural integrity...plus it would cost mucho dinero...I'd rather spend the money and buy a CRV-TEC that I dream about every night...

. Don't compromise the cars structural integrity for anything.
