Redcoupe's New Stockness [[CAUTION: EM1 INSIDE]]
So my buddy wanted me to post his car up here. He has wanted a EM1 for a long time. Well the opportunity came up when his EG got totaled.
The pictures were brighter but when they got edited they kinda faded. (not edited by me)
Here's his old EG. All motor built LS. (I believe 188whp)

The new ish.

Enjoy.

It just clicked over 133,000 miles.
I'm in the process of doing a tuneup which includes powersteering flush, all fluids flushed, timing belt, water pump, seals, cap, rotor, plugs, thermostat. Car needs a clutch, slips if you bang a gear.
I'm keeping the b16 stock, no exhaust, not even a intake. It's nice to have a car with no solid motor mounts, not cammin', don't gotta worry about if your eagle h-beam is gonna go thru your block at any given moment.
Motor wise though, later on, it'll be a ITR long block(I already have the ITR trans from my hatch w/ a kaaz in it) and a obd-2 ITR ecu. I'm sick of the street racing scene since I got busted and I just want a nice DD.
The 5-lug will make its way on here. I got some more suspension pieces to get. It'll be skunk2 camber kits(already ordered the front, the rear was on my old hatch). I need to get some Koni Yellows and Ground Controls. I sold my suspension off my hatch.
The ITR interior I still have, but I sold the rear seats to a friend and the wheel to another friend. The fronts WILL NOT go in the car, I'ma get some Recaro SRDs in black.
For now though, I'm just crusin' down the road. I'm enjoyin' the stockness.
Thanks for the kind words.
Also. Thanks Kyle for the shoot. I know you wanted to shoot my old car, but shes gone.

The AC compressor went thru the block.
My JDM itr header is donezo to. To get it off the head, I had to saw-zaw it.
I don't want a LSvtec for this car. I want stock. My old car had 8 motor setups in it, I don't want to ***** this one out. LOL.
Your car is nice aswell. Kyle ****** your car to me. Haha

Yes, I've never seen your hatch, But I have heard a lot of nice things about it. But there's a few that could stand beside yours (body wise, I know it's a monster under the hood)

good deal on the coupe tho </TD></TR></TABLE> It was a fully built LS motor for spray?
Had a type r trans with a kaaz lsd.

traction bars.
It wasn't just a ls swap. The motor wasn't built for this car, but due to another one of our cars getting stolen and stripped this one went in.
This wasn't going to be the last setup for the car. I had in the works a 84x89 lsvtec motor with a ported gs-r head and a nice turbo setup. The ls motor was just something to throw in there.
