1988 Accord retractable lights oscillating running nonstop and out of synch
My retractable lights oscillate. It used to do it ocassionally and now happens more than 50% of the time. It seems as if the motor has a limit switch or in position switch with a **** to manually rotate the motor by hand. I first thought the in position switch was bad but if that is the case, why do both sides oscillate at the same time. I suspect that the motor is overrunning the in position switch.
Is there a way to slow the motor down? I suspect not.
I cannot find a schematic for this circuit anywhere. Are these available anywhere?
Thanks for any help.
