Default is it fine to have intake in winter?

Well i wanted to buy an short ram intake is it fine to have on during winter and should i get those cover plastic things that go over the air filter then that would be okay also or maybe wrap up pipe with heat wrap so it does'nt freeze? what is the answer here

I believe you should be fine... having an intake in the winter won't cause any damage to the SRi--or to your car for that matter. Here, look at it this way. The metal in the SRi would only warp under extreme temperature changes over a short period of time. Such as a few seconds. And over these few seconds, a big difference in temperature change would have to occur. Such as 130º F droping down to -30º within a few seconds. Just as an example. I've been through a few winters and trust me.. some very cold ones, and my SRi still looks, and works just fine. ----- That is, if you're talking about the intake.

As of anything else man, you should be fine. And trust me, your engine will love the cold air it gets.
