what to do w/ the gas tank vent line????? help

i'm doing a wire tuck and its in the way. search but found nothing good or safe

 

i think i got the fix for what i need. tell me what you think. i was thinkin about buying a ebay breather tank. drillin a hold in the bottem and tapping it for a fitting and attach the gas vent line to it. then drilling a bigger hole at the top for a filter. and maybe baful it w/ some steal wool.

 

You mean the brass nipple that comes out of the firewall?

I have had mine open for over a year, as well as many other people.

if it's the vent line just leave it open.
