ECU trouble code, unable to read please help!!!!!!!!!
My B16a running a chipped pr3 stopped running today. It has no fuel or spark so i figured maybe a main relay, well i changed it with a known good one and it still didnt run. I then took the pr3 out and put it into my wrecked crx with a sohc zc and it started and ran fine so the ecu is fine. Now today all i did to the car was unplug the two plugs underneath the distributor (coolant temp sensors), the O2 sensor, and the distributor plugs so that i could move them out of the way while trying to fix a reverse light sensor, after i did that it did not run.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The pr3 does throw a code while in the b16a civic but it does not flash on the LED.

Sounds like you may have messed up something with the distributor...how do you know the ecu is throwing codes if the led isn't flashing?
The CEL on the gauge cluster stays on and doesnt shut off after the one or two seconds it should when the key is in the ON position.
my dad suggested maybe the power wire to the ecu because the car isnt getting fuel or spark and the ecu doesnt blink or anything when i turn the key, yet when i put the ecu in my crx it fires right up. Let me ask though would the car still crank even if the ecu was dead?
i looked at all of the fuses and they looked good but i will re-check tomorrow in the daylight and post what i find. Any other possibilities?
I don't want to sound silly, but did you get the wires for the distributor reconnected?
Presuming that you did, then it does sound like a fuse.

yeah the wires for the dizzy are connected and i didnt get a chance to look at the fuses today so i will tomorrow and post what i find if anything.
try UNPLUG the engine coolant sensor, then see if you can start the car, i refer to the same coolant sensor you pull out then plugged back in
will do tomorrow and i will let you guys know. Which coolant sensor are you talking about, i am assuming the one with two wires because the one wire sensor is just for gauges correct?
alright after a closer look at the underhood fuse box it did turn out that they had put a 5 amp fuse where a 15 amp fuse should be so it blew the 5 amp one. Once i replaced it with the 15 amp fuse it fired right up. Thanks guys for your quick responses.
