lets make a good converstion about motors
so i read alot and hear alot of crap talkin about how much better bigger engines are compared to smaller ones sucj as a 1.6 liter so lets have a thread of disscusion on what is better no bashin tho plz. things people need to understand is evercar is built for a differnt purpose there fore you can not exactly bag that motor or car compared to others... so lets have a clean thread
Yes, every motor is built for different purposes,
Whether you have a 1.6 which would be a stock stroke or bore, or you have a original 1.6 block and it gets bored and higher compression pistons are added to make it a 2.0..
Maybe its all motor and has high compression pistons, or its Forced induction and has low compression pistons...
Ive seen Plenty of SOHC, it depends on what parts are used, how good of a tune, etc... the most performance is gained from displacment..
like they say theres no replacment for displacement

yes exactly there isnt and yet people talk of how there six can stomp a 1.6 or a 5.0 well murder it which is not exactly true. i have raped many 6 cylinders and 8 in my civic with a jdm b16a swap and well alot of money in to it but poeple bash honda to much like sayin the s2000 are slow and suck or the same about the nsx all though it is acura they are related so why do people bash on them so often we mite ask are selfs..
yes but i am directing this toward hondas vs bigger cars on the street not racecars cuz they are not street driven so.. dont get me wrong no matter to what extent you can build a motor this it gets very costly and some cars are just to hard to beat like say ss/rs 69 camero or a 442 oldsmobile those cars are just wicked to begain with
