won't start when hot
We have an 89' civic hachback, very little tuning as of yet. Small problem, it won't start when the ambiant temp outside is over 90 degrees. Sounds strange I know but true. Does anyone have any suggestions? We put a hoodliner in thinking to insulate the motor from the tempature, didn't work.
Might be the main relay, if you have a service manual look it up and check where it is, the contacts might be getting some unwanted resistance. Does the fuel pump prime?
These are the four locations to solder, and then inspect all the rest and solder as needed...These four are the contacts for the fuel pump, which is what doesn't "power-on" when hot when the contacts are bad.
