Default TWM ITB install need help!

ok well heres the deal... i kinda ran into a awesome deal on these things like a year ago.... i understand how they work and where most everything goes, i however am a lil lost on where or what to do with the IAC valve... i hear alot of mixed feelings on this... im just curious if anyone is runnin itbs what they have done with it. Also the set up a Jdm B16 with 12.5 to 1 pistons skunk stage2 cams and ferria springs and retainers with a mild port what injectors should i run? im thinking like 440s, its gonna get a evans neptune tune...

I run 440cc's on my setup. the IAC valve can just hang. Although i am using cromepro and i do have it disable, i have it hanging and the two water lines still running threw it. and its still pluged in too. You can disable it and not worry with it or keep it pluged in like i have, and just let the water lines keep running threw it, i'm just lazy to block those holes cause who's to say down the like i dont run a supercharger or a manifold setup ever again. I wouldn't run anything less then 440cc's myself, Right now on a full street tune my injectors at 9k are around 78% duty, which is great and alot of room to mess with it.

If you're having Jeff Evans tune you on NepTune, the IACV can be disabled with one click of the mouse.

I run the Neptune RTP on mine, and have the IACV turned off. I'm curious as to how many people actually have the IACV working, though.

Also, beware of the sticky throttle. Add an extra return spring to the mix, and that SHOULD help. With the third spring on mine, the throttles close enough to have a smooth fuel cut on deceleration, but I still have to give the pedal a soft kick to close them completely for it to idle where I want it.

Cold idle is a little low, as well, but that's nothing my right foot can't fix.

we blocked off my IACV just zipped tied it on a hard line. But managed to keep the water lines on. We put plugs in the holes and used Honda Bond. Ran that setup with no problems for 8 months. I am running with RC 440's and we just tuned them down...i rather get bigger injectors to tune down than get 310's and peak out. Your call and your tuner...
As far as TPS plug the best the one that works is off an 03 Lancer. TWM wants like 60+ for their TPS Plug...

BUMP for itb's

i've ran with the TWM itbs.. ANd yes the tps sensor is totally different from a honda one. Which is why it requires a different TPS Plug.

here is the 03 lancer tps sensor plug

OEM TPS Wiring (follow the order with Lancer PLug

lancer plug Wiring (goes according to the Order shown with OEM Honda

TWM TPS Sensor

Attach Lancer PLug To TPS Sensor

Final Product (no CEL codes)

they get a for me for customer service and products. Trust me the sensor and the plug is about 60 bucks when i called TWM. The price is not even listed in their website.

What small problems are you running into??

The only problem i had with them were getting them caliberated to close...

To anybody looking for the tps plug, you can get it from most Mitsubishis. I found some from 01 mirage and and 95 up eclipse. It was a map sensor and not tps like most think. Also found one on 98 BMW 740li tps. And sorry if I bump and old thread.
