Default headwork for 450whp?

i am planning on making 450whp or so on my b16 (built) just wondering if a simple reconditioning and 3 angle valve job will be okay, i also will be installing springs and retainers at the same time. what places do you all reccomend for this? i am located in arizona

If your only doing 450whp then no headwork is needed unless your just really wanting to have it done.

x2.

A valve job is always a good idea on an older head, but no porting, ect. is needed at that power level.

Best of luck with your project.

Porting does help but not needed. At that power level, that money can be better spent on lots of other things, unless you do it yourself like I did . I would do the valve job though if its an old head like Top Ramen said.

I just put an igntion system in, trying to get some skunk2 pro1's and go back to the dyno for more boost. looking for 850+whp. just as long as the stock tranny holds
