93 prelude 4ws, new fuel filter, original fuel pump/injectors/fpr, etc. No irregular mods, mostly bolt-ons. After sitting even just over night car will stall a few times upon start up. Then run fantastic and idle normal/start normal for rest of the day.
Temperature is around maybe 10 degrees out side in morning, so I doubt temperature has anything really to do with stalling. Its very damp and moist though and car is parked outside. It seems like its a fuel cut though out because I can maintain the running if I rev the sh*t out of it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Fuel filter like I said was just changed by me.

does it do it just in cold weather? mine did something very similar and it went away with warm weather but its starting again the colder mornings are approaching. ive yet to figure it out.

That could be a pattern. I'm going to store it in garage tonight and see how it operates in the morning.
thanks guys.
If fuel pump was failing, it wouldn't really run well period? If a few injectors were clogged up with carbon, it would probably run like sh*t as well?, but it runs like it just rolled off the lot after a stall or three in the mornings.
How would moisture affect a car's starting process. If moisture got in the CAI could that cause the motor to stall until all the moisture has evaporated?
thanks guys.

its tuned up. I've done cap, rotor, wires, spark plug, fuel filter, fuel system cleaned.
I use synthetic. 10w 30 all season oil pretty much. Its mild outside, not freezing.
Compression is very good though, so seals shouldn't be a problem.
you sure bluish smoke is burning oil? its not running rich it fuel maybe?
thanks for any ideas

my car used to start maybe a few times with me trying hard until it just wouldnt start at all. mechanic said it was a fuel pump but i did some studying, put a new fuel/main relay in and started like a charm. check the main relay. and if it is a fuel pump, i have one up for sale
yeah im pretty sure blue smoke is oil aslo. black is rich (says my rear bumper) im gunna say check that main relay too. thats 1 thing i never checked and like i said our problems are similar.
main relay test:
1) Battery -> No.6
Negative-> No.8
Test continuity between 5 & 7
2) Battery -> No.5
Negative-> No.2
Test continuity between 1 & 3
3) Battery -> No.3
Negative-> No.8
Test continuity between 5 & 7
just if ya needed
