Default Comptech V. Jackson racing

Alright people, I threw out the idea of doing the AJP setup on my car and love blower whine so heres the question:

If you were going to supercharge your Si which system would you buy? Keep in mind I have no interest in a rotrex kit.

based on available options and feedback from those that have the SC installed... i would say comptech. its been around, and i have heard of some people having them installed at a Honda dealer and it being covered under warranty! either way, comptech just seems to be a more reliable brand from what i hear on the FG/FA

I've heard that too, they have to install it. My warrenty is only good for another 20K miles anyway. Back to the topic.

Never heard of a dealer ordering OR installing an aftermarket S/C or T/C.

i have only heard this through the installation of a comptech supercharger. acura dealers are more willing to do it since they know the reputation of comptech. i seriously doubt any dealer would do this with a turbo kit though. its way too easy for someone to adjust the boost on a turbo and then detonate the motor.

if it was me picking and i had the money AND my motor only had 20k left on warranty... i would go turbo. boost it with a greddy turbo kit at the "stock" boost of 6lbs and just have fun with it. then yank the kit, sell it, sell the car, and find something new. i say greddy because the ajp kit sounds great and all, but pushing 300+hp through a stock block just doesnt seem like it would last too long. plus, greddy has been around and have done their homework.

so turbo=greddy
supercharger=comptech. that is my $.02

MANY honda/acura dealers used to sell comptech products in the dealership store. Comptech puts so much R&D into their products that many times you can get their product covered under honda warranty. This support has fallen slightly since Comptech's near death experience. However I can still see it happening. Also, Comptech would definately by the better choice here. It's just really good designed products.
