Default Oil Starvation After Head Gasket

Hello all. I just recently bought a 92 LX 4 door and it had a bad head gasket. Well I replaced the gasket and since then I think either the oil pump burned out or the screen is clogged somehow. I'm going over to my garage right now to do a engine flush and change the oil one more time and see if that helps. With the engine idling and the oil cap off I can see that there is hardly any oil getting to the head. What's the ideas?

OK, I flushed the engine and changed the oil AGAIN and nothing. The oil light is STILL on. I think that the oil pump has burned out. No biggie though, just throw in my D15B! Quick question though. Seeing as how I'm going from a cable to a hydraulic tranny with the D15B, do I have to get a different clutch and flywheel?

Nevermind, this morning I drove it to work and it blew up. There is a half dollar sized hole in the second cylinder sleeve. Oh well, no sweat. JDM D15B into the Civic...

Wow, I've seen some dumb **** before but you just took the cake...

1) Oil light's on
2) notice no oil in the head

Result: Drive the car to work

If it didn't matter and you were going to blow it up anyways, why even bother making this thread??

i would of drove that car to work too. Single cam swaps in my area got for like $100 (live in houston tx). As for what the problem was the oil pump most likely went out.
