im tryin to do a auto to 5 spd swap on a 93 del sol...im keepin the single and just swappin the tranny..can i use a civic shiftlinage or must it be one from a del sol..is thier a differnce?

It is all the same dude. You can use any hydro 5 speed shift linkage (single cam). They are all the same from 92-00...

 

Apparently I am mistaken.....my friend though has a 99 ex linkage on his del sol and the reason I know is because he took it from my ex when I took my single cam swap out.....if I am wrong I apologize for false information

 

I also thought you had to have del sol specific shiftlinkage

 

u have to use del sol shift linkages..cause they are shorter than eg or ek civics.

 

i got the del sol lingage..the bend on the shofter faces more towards the driver tghen straight forwards..is that normal\??
