Default help crx something broke

i have no idea what it is

ok so you have the motor and then you have the rods that spin and go to the front wheels that make them spin when gas is given i was going down 167 switching to 4th gear shifting up... and then CLUNK!!! and then a bunch of noise i lifted the car to find a something or another disconnected from the motor .. any help would be great...

It's called an axle or a driveshaft. The CV (constant velocity) joint pulled apart or broke.

You need a new/remanufactured one.

That sir, is your axle. And a broken axle at that. Get a new one from autozone.

I don't recommend the remanufactured axles that AutoZone carries. They tend to either be bad stright out of the box, or don't last long at all.

We've had good luck with EMPI and Mevotech brand axles. By shopping around, you can find a reasonable deal on them.
