Default help with axle

I had a vibration when turning left so i decided to try swapping in a new axle on the right side. The car is a 1990 JDM crx sir with b16, so I got an axle from a 90 acura integra non-abs (my car doesn't have abs).

I followed the guide in the FAQ for swapping axles. The old one came out with some prying and pulling. I compared both axles and they were the exact same, same length, same ends, same everything.

The new axle popped right in, i put the lower balljoint back in the control arm, bolted the strut fork back on and put the axle nut on and staked it down. I torqued everything to spec according to the manual and put a new cotter pin in the castle nut.

When i took it for a drive afterwards I got clicking and vibration ten times worse than the old axle. The new one was a rebuilt from the local car parts store, Fenco brand. I've never had a problem before but i don't know if its possible i got a bad rebuilt axle or if i fugged something up in the tranny prying the old axle out?

I'm looking for any suggestions on what to try or what i might have screwed up since this was my first time replacing an axle. After the test drive, the new axle was still tight against the tranny and no fluid leaking out.

If you got a rebuilt one it could be possible that is bad. i had the same problem a while ago i put the bearings in wrong and i got all kinds of vibrations and clickingnoises. when i took it back apart the bearings were torn up but i dont think that you did any thing wrong while installing it i think its just bad

yea you could take the rubber boot off on both sides and take a look at them the tranny side should have 3 and if they were put in wrong that would make the vibrations.

AH dude my car vibrates hella only when pushing the gas which mean the inner cv joint is bad, and its a Autozone axle which are all remans! I exchanged it 3 times and it supossed to be new, but there not there all broken, this last one has alot of vibration but alot less then the other so i got tired of changed it and just got used to it.

GO TO HONDA FOR A NEW AXLE!!!!!!!!!!!

the left axle was replaced on my car with no issue, its only the right one that i'm having the problem with. I took the "new" axle out and put it back in, just for kicks. Still a lot of clicking/vibration when turning left. I'm thinking i got a bad axle even though i've never had a problem with axles from that store before.

I just put the old axle back in and everything is fine (besides the cv joint is starting to go bad).

I called my local parts store where the axle came from and they said 90-2001 acura integra 1.8l non-abs all shows the same part number cv2775 (the axle i got). 90-2001 integra 1.8l and delsol vtec 1.6l with abs are part number cv2773.

I don't have abs brakes, but my old axle has the abs ring on it. Is there any difference between the abs and non-abs besides the ring? Could that be causing an issue?
