tein s-tech or h&r sports?
it depends on the h&r springs, they offer like 3 different types. some stiffer than others. its hard to compare them when you picked a specific tein spring but not h&r but i would say that the h&r would be more stiff they usually have high spring rates.

the rears lasted a day and one of the fronts lasted a month. if you are going spring strut instead of coilovers i suggest waiting until you can put everything on at once. ppl will laugh at the bouncy civic in front of them

Your shocks were pretty busted up to begin with if they only lasted that long on s-tech springs. S-Tech's are designed to be used with stock factory shocks, they dont soften the ride and they dont stiffen it, they lower the car slightly and it behaves much the same as it does with stock springs.

My boyfriend had H&R Sports up until recently. I have Tein S-Techs.
The S-Techs sit slightly lower and give a softer ride. The H&R Sports are rougher (though not as bad as Skunk2s) and sit higher. It was noticeable with our cars at least.

Rolling on tien Dampeners now but before... Had s-tech springs. For using them w factory shocks.. They kicked ***! Ride height was excellent. If i was doing it again, I'd get a set of s-techs, and roll with a kyb adj shock. Springs, dont know how much. shocks, in the three hundreds... Save your money and have a sick set up for a cheap amount on money!!

H&R does give you a stiffer feel. but i guess it really depends on what shocks you're using.
