take the rubber boot off of your clutch slave cylinder
grease where the slave cylinder pushes against the "lever" on the transmission
worked for me

pop your hood, find your slave cylinder, pull off the rubber boot your looking at. You'll see a rod coming out of the slave cylinder, it hits a fork ( that actuates the clutch), and on that fork there is a divot where the rod hits. Put some bearing grease or somthing there.

It's the part where the ball joint is touching the Y Fork in the tranny. Grease it and bam your problem is gone. (well for me it did)

I had the same problem, lubed there, and it didn`t change anything. The creaky sound is definitely coming from the slave cylinder, so I think it needs to be replaced!

Anyone else tried lubing that joint this without success? What was next?

It looks like there is a grease fitting to the right of his pointer finger in that pic. Is it?
