Battery sorted out the fuel pump help!
I just got my 1990 civic si legit today smoged, registered, and new pipes. Well i was driving went over a bump slow as possbile. The battery wasnt strapped down. It turned over on its side and shorted out the battery and the fuel pump. the ecu fuse is fine as well as all the others. The fuel pump was ran right to the ecu and a simple kill switch was wired to it. Relays never worked so i guess the guy ran it stright to the ecu. I replaced the fuel pump, it primes over and everything still no fuel getting to the motor. all hoses are in the proper place. The ecu is flashing once and than 3 secs later 7 more times. o2 sensor, and i think tpc. But thats obd1 the harness and ecu is obd0(b16ecu). The motor is a 2nd gen jdm b16a. The car starts up with starter fluid and dies out when not being sprayed with the fluid. So that simple test imo means its a fuel problem?? or maby someone can give me some help!
