injector clips question

Default injector clips question

aight i got to putting my harness back on the motor tonight and ran into a slight problem.due to wiring in a resistor box all the injector clips arent in the right order. how do i go about finding out what injector clip go to what injector? thanks

Find a wiring schematic and go by the colors. I can post one up later if i can find it.

hey thanks a lot man, but what year/model is this diagram for? because i see i resistor box and stock i dont have one on the 5th gen, although i do have one now. i doubt i wiried the new obd1 clips in that order?

you can mix the red/blacks coming out of the resistor box.

as for the wires...

#1 BRN >> pin A1 on ecu
#2 RED >> pin A3 on ecu
#3 BLU >> pin A5 on ecu
#4 YEL >> pin A2 on ecu

This is for a 4th gen, but the pinouts are the same on the 5th, just go to the ecu plug and see what color the wire is to the corresponding pin and it should be the same color on the injector end.

last question man, sorry, but where can i find an ecu pinout? cause i cant find it in the helms manual.

edit: i just rememberd im running an p72 ecu. it would be the same there as well right? i guess i can look on the stock harness and then see where that leads on the converson harness right? so all i need is a pinout of the sock ecu?

wait im a moron. i can just plug in my stock ecu just to see where the wires are! yes ok so i just need to stock 5th gen ecu pinout. thanks
