no, but i know thats what you will need to do. my friend just put dell sol seats in his ride and welded new brackets, he had dsm seats before. just because i haven't done it doesn't mean i don't know what needs to be done

since you say you know how it can be done can you elaborate on the subject?

ok he is gonna have to see how off the brackets are on the one see, measure it. then bascially you just fabricate to make them fit. i mean i don't know what else to tell ya. he might have to weld, very possbile. just tell him to take the brackets off the eg seats and see how bad the holes are off to mounting them in, then he fabricates to get them to fit. talk to rioninja, he is the fabrication king

I have '93 Hatch seats in my '89 hatch, front and back. Had to cut two slots for the rear seat to latch to, bend the wire frame a bit on the drivers side and cut some foam to clear the gas tank filler tube that is higher than the '93, for the front I welded a new frame with angle iron and some square tubing along with the original sliders and by cutting the newer seats brackets to remove the factory sliders. You will see what it takes. I did this and everything bolts up to the original points on the floorpan, bolts to the newer seats and uses the original seat belts. So yes It can be done but its not a bolt in affair. It can be done, made to look good, AND be safe. Just take you the better part of an afternoon to do. I would have preffered TEG seats or a good set of originals but could find neither in the DC area. At least not in the right color.

i have an 87 teg seat in my 89 civic si and it doesn't bolt right in. we used the civic bracket for one side and the teg for the other. we had to custom mount the teg bracket.

also, the 87 teg seat is wider than the 89 civic si seat...
