Wiring power windows and locks on a 99dx...any guides?
I'm trying to figure out how I can wire power windows and locks on a 99dx.
I'm using doors off a civic ex, with the larger connectors (the dx connectors are two pins only). Where do I run the wires to, from the connectors?
Does anyone know if there are any online guides to this?
Thanks.

First and foremost you will need a Helms manual. Don't even attempt it without those wiring diagrams.
You will need the chassis wiring that connects between the two doors. It isn't too hard to get it from a junked car. If you can get to the entire harness great but if you can't just pull the wires as far as you can from the passenger side and then cut them on an angle so you can match them up again later. Then just pull them (gently) one by one from the drivers side. It's not too difficult. You can solder them back together once you have them all. The harness connects to the fuse box, the stereo system at a plug behind the fuse box, and the power mirror switch (if you have it). You will need to remove the front fenders to install the door connector.
Of course you will need the door wiring harness as well and all the power stuf in the doors. I picked up everything from a junk yard for around $400.
