Default 1994 accord probs

Hi, I have a 94 vtec 4 cyl, 4dr, auto with 230k miles.

1) For a while now my engine has been making a knockin noise at around 2000 rpms. What is the problem? what is causing this noise...when i put the car in park and neutral and start to rev...there is a clear knocking noise that is coming from the engine. please help...

2) My a/c does not blow cold air....fan is working...but the air is not cold even when i press the a/c button...it just blows warm air...do i need to put in r134a in it or something...if i do can someone please tell me how to do it...if not ...what do i need to check?

3) My tranny is also shifting hard now...mostly hard from 1 to 2nd gear...I heard around that a bottle of "lubegard" may solve this hard shift....has anyone used this personally and had the hard shifting to be resolved?...

Please reply back....I need to fix my car fast....if you need more information to answer my questions please ask...and I'll get the information for you...thank you....

1. engine knock you say?, if u can spare.. get another f22b_ ...b2 i'm guessing. and that will knock out your knocking problem. F22's run about $250-$500

2. clogged line, in need of charge, faulty ac compressor

3. lubegard...wow, no buddy. flush your tranny and get hond MTF in there.

good luck.

you said shift from 1st to second so i assumed.

i don't know too much about knocks..but i wouldnt play with one on any given day and that's for sure. getting it fixed? someone else will come along behind me and give you the info. on that.

as for the shifts..you should still flush and give new atf to your tranny.

Well I'll try to help...

1. Knocking. I never had this problem with my car.... But try some fuel injector cleaner. Put em in the gas tank. Try some seafoam in the gastank. Try some higher octane fuel.....

2. Warm A/C air... Does the A/C clutch kick in? Does the fan turn on? (both) If yes to both, maybe you need a charge. I suggest paying $60 or so for a charge by a pro. He/she should inspect it too.

3.Shifting hard is fine. It's a unique part of 5th gen Accords. Hard shifting in automatic. Nothing wrong. In my opinion, I would rather shift hard.

I guess... But there is no way to remove it. How hard is it when warm?
