Hey you guys im new to the forums and im not a really big honda guy but my girlfriend owns a 97 prelude and just recently her oil light will flash for a few seconds and turn off. i checked her oil its still in good levels. anyone might have an idea of whats going on? Thanks

 

first thought for me is oil pump going out.

 

The oil light will flash if low on oil/low oil pressure.
There might be other reasons..

 

Yeah like loosed wire on oil pressure sensor underneath the oil filter or sensor itself.
I'd check that first.
