i have a b16 swap in my eg hatch and i am running the d series radiator and it seems fine..temperature is always stable as before the swap.but i bought a aftermarket d series radiator before the swap.the radiator hoses from b16a have bigger diameter so i have to use water clams to tighten them onto the d series radiator..

yea i know you could use it but ive heard that a bigger one will help cool it better ..like the dual core because civics come with a single core..my main question is if the ex/si civic radiator a dual or single core?>?

The 99-00 civic si are single core. The b16 del sols are dual core. The hoses on the D series radiator are smaller, so you may have a hard time slippen it in to a del sol radiator, and it may start to leak/drip under operating temps. Mine did, even with screw-tight hose clamps.

Get the radiator from Radiatorbarn.com and order the dual core.

Its single... that is what you arent understanding. Just because you have a "GSR swap", it doesnt mean you need to upgrade your radiator. Unless its cracked you can just use the stock one. Even RCautoworks is using their single core EG 1/2 radiator with a DOHC-T setup with no problems.

Single. The price for a single, I believe, was almost as much as a dual, so I didnt have anything to lose.

I thought the 99-00 civic SI has a single core, but with a bigger inlet/outlet diamater for the hoses.
