I believe it depends on the company.

I know for '96-'98 the DEPO foglights won't, but the Esuse foglights I believe will fit the OEM harness. The interior harness is another story though. If you want the OEM button, the OEM harness is needed.

Don't know the company, its just some random aftermarket 99-00 OEM style foglights that I got. I wired it all up and want to switch foglights. Don't want to do all the labor again for new foglights , thinking about just changing the foglight itself and leave all the harness and plugs there to plug in.

It shouldn't be that much work. The OEM foglight harness plugs into the OEM harness that is already on the car. The harness comes on all '96-'00 Civics.
