THE 1ST THING I DID WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR WAS TAKE OFF THE DECALS AND TRADE THE 5ZR RIMS FOR GSR BLADES <U></U>
Well Guy's and Girl's of Honda-Tech Here is my story this has been a heart ache of mine for a long time now and for some reason I thought I would share it on here(I need closer)..here it goes......

I have a friend who had this Beautifull EK9 Gsr and he bought it off this guy and he drove the car around for a little whle (4 months) and never once had a problem with it and NEVER beat on the car....well he decided he wanted to sell the car to get something else....So I bought the car for $7,300....the day I bought the car I was working at a local Dodge dealership and when I got out he showed up to pick me up in the car so I could pay him for it and I could take ownership of the vehical, well I did fork over $7,300 Dollars cash and we went to the gas station and I filled her up with 93 octane and went for a cruise about three Hours into the drive we decided to go past the local carnival that was in town at our mall so im driving past the carnival just bringing it up to 4700rpm (just so VTEC cracks a little bit) and the letting off well I got to a stop sign and decided I was going to give it a 1st-3rd run and open it up a little bit........So I launch Perfect..... Vtec hit so hard the front tires broke loose.....bam shifted into second (tire chirp)brought it up the gear to 8500rpm (It bounced off the rev limiter one time) and I cought 3rd before it could bounce of the rev limiter twice...Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooom smoke every where, I here chunks of metal hitting the under body so I pull off to the side and the engine is on fire my friend is buggin out tellin me to get away from the car but im sayin(F#ck that ****) my new $7,300 car's burning from under the hood so I get back in the car pop the hood burning my hands and percided to unzip and **** on the engine fire.......(anything to save my car Prob wasnt thinking clearly) well believe it or not it worked the fire went out.... So I looked under the hood there was a hole in the block on the bottom right the size of your big headed friends head (Just great) so I had it towed too my house and the following weekend I went to get a motor from this auto part shanty town in NYC by Shea Stadium and got a JDM B16a Sir-2 Long block($1,200) and got to work. I finished the swap in like 2 weeks taking pissed off brake thats why it took so long....when I went for my 1st test drive there was a LOUD rod knock and I knew then the motor was Shot so I pulled it and tried to return it but they screwed me and told me the motor was fine when the sold it to meand they were not going to help what-so-ever....what ever I was tired of the bullsh!t and it was late so I went to sleep for the night the next morning I go out and looked at my car and thieves got to it and striped it no carbon hood,fenders,radiator,CTR cluster,just took the rear seats not the fronts?, and last but no least my soul....I was so fed up I just sold the shell for $3,000 and bought a Very nice crx.....well there you have it hpe you like my story Please comment on what you think... I just want to see if people like the car I never had the chance to enjoy..

CLIFFS
1.Bought car from friend.
2.Engine Went boom and cought on fire 4hrs later cause I bounced off the stock rev limiter once.
3.Pissed on engine to put fire out.
4.Got B16a Sir2 from engine warehouse had rod Knock told to **** off no refund
5.Pissed @ World went to sleep that night car got stripped (Fu(kin Theives)
6.Sold Shell Bought Crx
7.Told H-T some laughed @ My Car some liked it

Well everyone is intitled too the own opinion but I can see what you mean with all the decals (that I took off) Except the Mugen one........and I traded the 5ZR wheels for GSR Blades

disappointing thread after taht title.

Although, I really love the blue HB. I really like the Mugen sticker. Was a nice car!
