Inner axle poping?
Recently a weird noise has been coming from my civic. When I take off from a stop or apply the brakes I hear a pop from the engine bay. I found out that if I am stopped with the e-brake on and rock the car back and forth(1st then reverse) it makes the same noise. It doesnt make the noise wheb I turn to full lock and when I am already moving. I took a look at it today and all the motor mounts are good(HAsport b-series). Also non the the suspension compenents are loose. Does this sound like the inner axles are bad. BTW they are 2-3 year old Raxles.
Also does this look bad?

no that magnet isnt that bad. If it had that much crap on it after 3000 miles yes it would be bad, but that is ok, mine looks like that too
I've had bad inner joints before but have never heard them pop, it's more of a vibration but only under load when accelerating (not when decelerating).
What you're describing sounds like a problem I had on one of my EF's after replacing the pass side axle. I didn't tighten the 2 17mm bolts that connect the radius arm rod to the LCA quite tight enough and after a few hundred miles they backed out enough to make some play and start clunking. Even if all your suspension stuff looks / feels tight, throw a ratchet on there and make sure.

Ok I checked the radius rod bolts and they were tight. But I got to looking at the back of the engine and it turns out the rear tranny bracket only had two bolt in it and one was loose. So I put an other bolt in it and torqued it down. No more popping sound
