B16 swap?

Default B16 swap?

ok how hard is it to do the b16 engine swap... like honstly how much time does it take.. bcuz im lookin to buy an older civic just for that purpose, but i wanna kno what im gettin into b4 i do it... so right now im lookin for an old civic for like 500... ne one got one?

it depends on if it is a obd1 or obd0 or obd2 b16a swap...do u have mechanic knowledge? i did b16a sir ii swap by myself with a help from a friend..we both know what we are doing but we were using hand tools ..took us 9 hours a day for 2 days to swap the engines..and then by myself alone..i spent 3 hours every day after work for 5 days to put every little parts back together

if u know what ur doing it wont take long at all. my buddy blew his motor and did a complete swap in one day was driving it the next day but he really knows a lot about hondas.

it actually will take only a day if u knoe what ur doing. i did mine in one day and started it later on in the nite. took me about 8 hrs though.

not too tough other than wiring... its pretty simple to bolt up the motor all you have to hope for is that the motor isnt f'ed up, broken sensors, etc... on my first honda swap with one friend i got it done in about five hours but i had a lot of previous swap experience with nissans and toyotas

Are you kidding?

Clutch job is SO much easier than swapping motors.

Not hard at all. If the obd is the same everything is plug and play. If you have knowledge it will be very easy just like everyone said if not it is still completely do-able. youll never know till you try
