Default how much am i going to pay...

whats up peeps, does anybody know a estimate price that a shop would charge to get some piston rings replaced on a b-series if i just take in a short block?? thanks in advance

i paid 100 for assembly, 80 for 81.5mm bore and hone, 40 for micropolish crank

it all depends, when i built my b17 i had them take measurements and mate each ring with the cylinder perfectly, they grind exrtemely small amounts to do this. Very pleased with the whole process. I ended up paying 500$ for bore and hone and a balance of the whole lower assembly to 14K rpm.

Thats the proper way to do it and ensure a good fit that wont leak.
