Default Crx hatchback noise

I am wondering how to minimize the noise (squeaks and rattles) from my hatchback. I realize having a hatchback there will be some noise but if there is a way to minimize the noise that would be great. I am currently replacing the original hatchback shocks (not sure if that is the correct terminology). If there is anything else that will help please let me know.

Thanks

Ok, on the part or the hatch that raises up there's 2 rubber stoppers. You'll be able to turn them so it seems like they're going to come out. But Honda enginered them to loosen, but not come completely out to stop the hatch from rattling. 2 thumbs up to Honda for thinking ahead for once.

i hear about putting rear strut bars reducing noise from the rear. i've never tried it, because i don't want to cut my rear interior for the rear strut bar to fit. but i did try it on my old accord, it was dropped 2.5inch. whenever i pull up into my garage, i would hear a clunking noise going through the bumps, but when i install the rear strut bar, it stopped somehow. only if i can find it to fit perfectly in my crx with no rear interior mod, i would like to try that out.

one of the easy ways to eliminate some of the hatch squeak is to wrap a small of electrical tape around the hatch striker(a.k.a. the latch "loop") this has worked for me and many others.
