Heater core hose from block loop back? searched
I think the last time I replaced that hose, it was so hard to get off that I might have broken something under my dash. Once my engine warms up, I can hear a pshhh pshhh sound coming from under my dash and I get wet spots on my carpet.
I know I have to take out my dash to take out the heater core but could I just re-route the hose in the engine bay back to the block or just block it off? I live in the desert so I don't need the heater. Could I leave the heater core in the car and not have to take the dash out at least for now?
I'm getting the crx manual from hondahookup so it'll probably show me where to loop the hose to but do I HAVE to take out the heater core if there is no coolant going to it?
Thanks
