Default Idle---1500

I have a 97dx coupe with a jap spec d15b. When i has it on a stock obd2a computer it would have an erratic idle from 1500 and keep doing it. After i got a chipped p28 the same problem occurred, and then i switched to a y8 intake manifold and i doesnt idle at 1500 anymore but im slowly driving at 1500 the idle comes back into play. What could be the problem

i've seen this happen alot with JDM motors. the most common i have came across is a bad pcv valve. the get clogged and cause irradic idles. you can pick one up at the parts store for about $3 and they are very easy to replace.

the are located on the intake manifold. just follow the hose running from the valve cover, it will lead straight to the pcv valve.
