so i got new exhaust put on yesterday.i got rid of the cat, 2.5inch back with 20 inch resonator mandrel bent to a flow tech 2.5 in 2.5 out muffler center in offset out.


i was hoping for a quite deep sound. i ended up with a louddddd deep sound till 4000ish rpms and afta that raspy.


so do you think if i took and put a smsp 400 cel universal cat on there it would quite it down alot and maybe not be so raspy in the higher rpms? or what do you suggest?

try a different muffler and a cat

 

the shell of the muffler is longer and wider than the es oval so i dont know what else to try really.
