Summit point Oct. 13/14th event. got a few questions.
my wife is signed up to be doing a hyperdrive with our miata. any instructers out there that will be attending??
also, i'm pretty sure i have to get it pre-teched like any other HPDE, correct? i've got a small oil leak on the motor somewhere, haven't investigated, about a drip a night if that. will that be an issue? cars got new pads, BRAND NEW fluid flush, new rotors, azenis, and a roll bar and hard top. so i think she'll be set. before the event i plan on changing the oil and bleeding the brakes one more time.. she IS my wife and i don't have an insurance policy on her yet.

<--- Instructor at that event, though I don't know if I'm instructing for hyperdrives or not.
There will be on-site teching I believe (Mid-Atlantic NASA does that anyway, I'm 98% sure the Hyperdrives will be done the same way). Your oil leak will not be an issue. Remember, Hyperdrive is just one session, and with a noob driving, so the car won't see that much abuse.

yeah, that's what i was thinking. thanks a lot. i AM going to find it before the event, though.. don't need an oil leak anyways.
