Is there a battery backup that can be used with the Scytek Galazy 5100rs? Bettery yet, can battery backup be used with any system, just a matter of knowing how to wire it in? Furthermore, how does one wire one in? I have read all the articles here, suspendedhatch's have been very helpful and I am gearing up to do a stealth install. I just want to make sure that I buy the right system first.

I am trying to decided between the Viper 5002 and the Galaxy 5100rs - both have the 2-way feature which is a key option for me to consider.

 

Go with the Viper, and yes a backup batt. can be connected to any alarm, some alarm/remote start combo units can be a problem. 94

 

Go with the Viper 5002.

Thanks for the input. What happened was the guy selling the Scytek's said that Scytek manufactures all of the DEI stuff and they just started to label there own **** now as Galaxy to get in on the action. All in all, they are about the same price so, yeah, the Viper it is.

Viper, all the way. Scyteck manufacturing DEI, If you want to believe that, then thats like saying that Pioneer manufactures Premier. And they probably do, of course there is always a market for the cheap ****.

Wait... Pioneer doesn't manufacture Premier? I'm confused... If they don't, then who does?
