so i finally got my car started today in my 88 dx hatch swapped to mpfi. but wen it started my car was redlining as if i was pressing on the gas, which i was not and all it did was rev till redline what could the problem be?

 

check throttle cable

or check for LARGE vacuum leaks.

Did you remember to switch the 2 wires on the outside of the TPS?...

 

not sure what 2 wires your talking about?
is there important hoses i need to check on the IM?im using the a6 manifold on it
