Default Can someone help with my frequent intermittent power loss/timing issue with my B16A2 swap?

I recently did a 2000 B16A2 swap into my 1996 Civic EX (D16Y8). The compression was a bit low on cylinder 1 but my brother said to just take the motor. Anyways the car runs, am using a chipped P28 ECU.

Symptoms
1) Engine rocks back/forth... noticeable inside the car as car "shutters/shivers"
2) Extremely unpowerful, very slow to accelerate
3) Noisy, as if loose valves, when engine was in load; noise disappears when in N

Soo... these symptoms are from incorrect ignition timing right? I took it to a shop to have the distributor timing adjusted (advanced) with a timing light.

Car pulled hard for two days but the noise still occurred when there is a load on the engine but not when idling.

Out of nowhere... I get symptom 1, engine rocking back/forth. I notice power loss as it took forever with lots of effort to reach 60mph, even when revving at 4K. As I kept driving... sometimes the rocking disappears in which I notice immediate power gains. As I drove some more, I notice on/off power lose/gain as I accelerated. On/off engine rocking when idling at the lights. It would accelerate hard, then bog, then hard, then bog... all within seconds.

What is wrong? I think I am using a SOHC distributor... the wires are not NGK so it does not appear to be stock. What should I look for?

P.S. I have no CEL and I did the CKF bypass mod since I was using an OBD2a ECU

Damn... no idea why the complete swap came with a D distributor. How do I identify and verify it? I plugged in my stock P2P ecu, runs fine, does not pull hard like it did on the two days the car was running fine with the P28 but no choppy power issues. Well at least for the 5 minute drive around the area.
