for about 2 months now ive been getting a intermittent solid cel. outa the blue ill get the check engine wont start and if i just keep turning key off and on to acc until the check engine goes away itll start up and runs like normal. is this signs of bad wiring/connections? or the ecu on its way out?

Thats tough to diagnose man. It could be the ecu going, but first I would check the main relay or the ignition switch.

 

The first question I ask every time I see this, do you have an after-market alarm? if so, that is the first place I would check. I have seen and heard this type of problem a lot with-in the last 6-8 months, old alarms causing problems. Just something to look into

 

no alarm. im gunna pull up the helms to find the test for the main relay and ignition switch. and try that.

can you tell me how you know this? im not doubting you that was my guess b/c now my other lude i dont drive often which i know has a "on its way out" main relay is starting to do the same solid cel...
