Where to start?
I'm fairly new to the honda scene, I've done bits of research on things all across the board concering my car.
I've got a pretty much stock 96 del sol with a d16y7.
Thus far I've just been replacing and restoring things that are worn out and trashed.
Had rust sanded and sealed up, replaced front break pads and calipers, put a new master cylinder on, put new seats in, replaced all the targa top seals, bought new floor mats / steering wheel cover put 4 new speakers and head unit in for a temporary system untill I make a game plan and final goal for my car. Basicly alot of minor cosmetic things.
I'm just a daily driver, with no interest in taking my car to the track or anything of that sort.
I've read up on swaps, turbo options, suspension work, bolt ons, exterior bling etc
But can't find a nice solid place to start, every time I get reading into one subject I always jump to a differnt becasue of some AD I see posted for a killer deal on parts.
But anyway, my real question is, where would you start? My budget is about $300 a week I can afford to put into this little project, to give you a basis of what I can afford.
Also, was wondering what kind of ball park figure am I looking at paying to get a compression / leak down test done?
Was looking into maybe doing a mini-me, I really want a vtec, for no other reason then to just say I have one

Suspension
-Koni Yellows
-GC coilovers
-Rims
-Wheels
Maybe get some new LCAs / sway bars for some bling
Gonna be a pretty penny right out of the gate tho

Most people will say to start with the suspension. This is a good place to start, but a somewhat expensive place to start depending on what kind of coilovers you get.
You could also get bolt-on's for fairly cheap to start out with, but that motor is not really worth doing that to unless you plan to really put money into it and build it.
