G'day fellas,
Long time reader 2nd time poster lol. Im from Sydney Australia and I own an '99 EM1.
I was wondering if i was to purchase a Si climate control unit off a 99-00 civic would it be a straight fit for me
even though the vents arnt exactly in the same place and having sliders to control the hot/cool air.?
what is involved in this change.
I know that if i was to do this conversion in a <99 civic i would need to change the blower and heater core but would it be different in this case?
Thanks!

you must be talking about using 96-98 climate control in your 99-00 right? If that is the case it will not work without changing all the stuff you mentioned. anyway just keep the EM1 climate control it looks better I think

oh ok so you're wanting to do what everyone else does, you would need to pull the dash and change the blower/plus other stuff, there is a good write up of this conversion on here. however it is a big job

no they dont, i think the US (and JP) are the only ones that got this type of Electrical climate control, other country;s all have the slide switches for the heater and stuff.
just follow the how-to and it should work out.
