Default IAC valves...which one to get? Welding IAC flange onto Intake manifold

I'll be using an AEM here shortly..and what Im trying to do is incorporate an idle air control valve into my setup. I'll be running a 65mm Mustang tb that only has a TPS sensor. My plan is to have the IAC valve operating underneath the intake manifold (hidden)...but I need to figure out which IAC valve will be the easiest to adapt onto an intake manifold that currently does not have one.

Looking at the honda ones...it looks like there are twin o-rings that seal off both ports. All the GM ones look like they require a special housing to operate.

You guys have any suggestions?

You need the T1 remote mount IAC plate

perfect tony. I love you.

what kind of wire loom do you use? I've been trying to find a good alternative to "corregated wire loom."

Tony, that is almost too pretty to bolt to a car.

summit sells it, works pretty good and not terribly expensive.

Awesome products as usual, Tony1 If only you made this IACV flange a few years ago, it would save me a few trips to my local CNC guy and countless hours...lol

how much is the t1 iacv mount... ive been looking at manifolds and most of them dont have iacv provisions and want to keep the iacv.

i guess with that you just need to hook up the one side to the intake manifold and couldnt you just leave the other nipple open or maybe even run a breather filter off it? or with a boosted engine does it have to go back to the tb or charge pipe?

The mount is $75. You can just run the outlet to the intake manifold and keep the inlet open to atmosphere, or you can plumb it back before the throttle body.

Also, there's 2 different bolt patterns on Honda IAC motors, this mount will work with both of them.

Obviously you can mount it wherever you want, but was it designed to mount somewhere specific?

I made a bunch of these kits specifically for the Scion TC with an AEM EMS, as they are drive by wire and the OEM computer controls the throttle relative to the gas pedal, but does not do anything for idle control anymore. So this was my solution, wire and use a Honda IAC and you have idle control. It's designed to mount on the firewall of a Scion TC.

I told a local shop to contact you for one of these kits, as they are putting an AEM on a TC out here..

for T1 inginuity (or is it engine-uity?)!

They could always just drill a hole in the throttle plate like some of the guys are doing. lol

I've only tuned a few, haven't built anything custom. I tuned one of the first with the AEM EMS, and come up with a solution for the idle problem and sold the kits to the place that's making the conversion harneses to run the 1050 box in the scion. I have some left over mounting plates because they only needed 20 kits and we CNC'd 30 plates.

But rest assured, if we were to do a TC kit, it would look just like the rest of our stuff.
