Does anyone here know if the JDM EG6 rear hatch glass and the USDM glass are shaped differently? I just put my duckbill on today, and I know there is usually a gap on the sides, but I also have a 1/4 inch gap along the whole edge facing the glass, and it just seems to me Spoon would make it fit a little nicer.
I know that the CTR and MUGEN wings for EP3's dont fit right because the rear hatch is shaped differently, and am wondering if this is also the case with the EG's

jdm & usdm glass for EG6 are the same shape and size.
there will always be a gap on aftermarket parts. spoon or otherwise.

Ok thanks for the input so far, i have an opportunity to grab one in trade for my stocker for only 40 bucks through a freind of mine so i might just do it anyway... im thinking ill put a rubber gasket along the edhe to fill up the gap
yeah the fitment on the spoon duckbills for eg's sucks
i was very dissappointed when i got mine and saw the same gap
. its funny though i chose the spoon duckbill over some knock off expecting a flawless fit and finish and i got neither, now i see people with knock offs with much better fitment and finish.

Yup people always think the spoon duckbill fits perfect but it is hit or miss just like any other duckbill out there. My friend has a spoon one that fits fairly well but I think my BKNW one fits and looks better
i guess it just goes to show you that just because its the most expensive that does not mean its always the best. speaking of expensive i wonder how the bys spoilers fit, lol. for the price and how they look they better fit like a glove!

yeah i mean honestly i knew the fitment on the sides wasnt going to be perfect, but i had never heard of the bottom egde being gapped too.
i mainly got the spoon because it was the best fitment and the same fitment mostly all the time whereas with say a JDMSHIT its like theyre not even coming out of the same mold. I also like the look of the 1x1 weave ALOT better.
I wanted a BKNW because as far as i have seen they have the BEST fitment, but ehrn i tried contacting them to get one they refused to sell to me, saying they only deal with distributors.
owell, im going to see if i can work with it a little and get it to sit a little closer, then used a rubber gasket along the bottom edge to close the gap to the glass
